How to Prepare for Your Bikini or Brazilian Appointment

Let the Hair Grow Out
Ensure that the hair is 1/4 inch-1 inch in length (approximately 3-4 weeks of growth) before your appointment. This length allows the wax to adhere correctly, making the removal process more efficient and reducing the chances of breakage.
If your hair is longer than 1 inch, please trim it down to an inch prior to your appointment. For hygienic reasons, we do not trim pubic hair.

Exfoliate the Area
Gently exfoliate the bikini area 1-2 days before your waxing appointment. This helps to remove dead skin cells, reduce the risk of ingrown hairs, and ensure that the wax can adhere properly to the hair.

Avoid Moisturizers and Oils
On the day of your appointment, avoid applying any lotions, creams, or oils to the bikini area. These products can interfere with the wax's ability to adhere to the hair, making the process less effective.

Take a Warm Shower
Take a warm shower before your appointment to cleanse the area and open up the pores. This can help to soften the hair and make the waxing process less painful.

Wear Comfortable Clothing
Choose loose, comfortable clothing to wear to your appointment. Tight clothing can irritate freshly waxed skin, so breathable fabrics and loose fits are ideal for comfort afterward.

Concerns About Pain or Discomfort
Each individual experiences differing levels of pain and discomfort during a bikini or brazilian wax. The first time tends to be the most uncomfortable, especially if you regularly shave. Every wax after the first one gets easier and most of the time, our customers leave relieved that their wax wasn't as bad as expected.
If this is your first time or if you're especially concerned about discomfort or pain, consider taking an over-the-counter pain reliever (like ibuprofen) about 30 minutes before your appointment. This can help to reduce pain and inflammation.

Stay Calm and Relax
Arrive at your appointment a bit early to relax. Stress can make the experience more uncomfortable, so practice deep breathing and stay calm to help ease any anxiety.
